So growing up in South Jersey we use the term crick and creek interchangeably.

I would like all the people I have meet from going to school in North Jersey know that Parks and Recreation actor Nick Offerman mentions a crick in an article from the Chicago Time

“We worked on the farm as kids,” Offerman said. “Spent a lot of time down at the crick fishing. It was like growing up in the ’50s. You could ride your bike into town without worrying about being abducted.” ~ Chicago Times

Apparently everyone dream; it just depends on if you can recall them. I usually fall in the percentile of people who are “head-to-pillow-then-it-is-tomorrow”. I thought I lost the ability to recall my dream. Until it happened!

I had a dream! And it involved Dunkin’ Donuts, so of course it was a good dream. Or so I thought.

It was a very short dream, starting and ending within what felt like 30 seconds. It began with me stepping foot inside of Dunkin’ Donuts to order a blueberry muffin. I instantly knew something was wrong when I was inside ordering. (I always go through the drive-through, never inside) I step up to the counter and WHO do I see? I see one of my friends wearing a black apron and asking me for my order. I proceed to order a blueberry muffin. “Sorry…we are out of blueberry”, she says. WHAT?! All I wanted was this blueberry muffin, but fine I’ll order something else.

“Corn muffin, then please”, I say. “Sorry, we are out of Corn Muffins”, I experience instant sadness…”Fine…I’ll take two Boston Cream donuts.”

I am then handed a bag and the dream ends. Did I ever get my two Boston Cream donuts? I have no idea. Did I confront said friend the next day about why she hated me and didn’t have anything I wanted to order.

Of course! What are friends for anyway right?

Today, I won my own personal game of Guess What Song That Teenage Boy is Playing on the Accordion to which Everybody is Sit-Dancing. It was this one.

One guy was so into it, and also drunk, that he gave the kid what looked like $20.

I love Michel Telo! I impress all the ladies when I can sign perfect Portuguese…but don’t ask me what it means lol

I never thought about it until recently but do you ever find yourself constantly encountering a specific thing or item?

For me it has been the month of September.

Only being 22, I have held 2 part-time jobs, 2 internships, and 1 full time job (my current job). The strange thing about everything is at everyone of those places the number of Virgos have always outnumbered the number of any other birth month. 7 out of 11 employees at on place, 5 our of 9 at another…September is definitely up to something.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with September or being Virgo because, hey, I am one myself and we rock! I just found it funny and slightly intriguing that off the top of my head I could name probably 20+ friends and colleagues that share the same birth month. What can I say? It’s what being a Virgo is all about right? Striving for truth, understanding, and world domination - The Virgo Code!

And yes, I did do a Google search and found that depending on the year - September or August is the most popular birth month. Maybe it has something to do with the cold winter air nine months prior. :)
